Description Job Title: Senior Voice Engineer Location: Melbourne Length:- Permanent Must be based in Melbourne, and must be a Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident About the role: As a Senior Voice Engineer you will be responsible for the ongoing design, deployment, management, monitoring, growth forecasting and capacity expansion of voice infrastructure across the network. The focus of this position is to manage several servers and systems that deliver our voice services. A key application for this role is Asterisk. The candidate will ideally have extensive experience in VoIP and ISP grade SIP services using Asterisk and related technology. Key Responsibilities and Experience: • Asterisk deployment, monitoring, reporting and administration. • Significant experience in SIP protocol (signalling and SDP) • Strong VoIP/SIP protocol troubleshooting and related standards such as SRTP/RTP, ICE and G.711 • Significant Experience in SIP signalling analysis for SIP Proxy, SBC, Gateway, Trunk, Registration and bridged media session. • Experience or significant knowledge of codecs and media containers such as PCMU, PCMA H264, MP3, MP4, others. • Lead the voice team and manage staff workflow within the team • Growth forecasting • Disaster recovery planning and testing • Prepare documentation and training manuals as required • Handle and respond to voice related escalations in a timely manner • Presales solution work for sales team regarding voice related projects • Ensure that all work is completed in a correct, cost effective and timely manner in alignment with specifications and quality requirements. • Contribute towards the achievement of company’s strategic and operational objectives. • Weekly meetings and reports to your line manager For more information please contact Sarah Brown sarah.browntalentweb.com.au arrow_outward Opens in new window or tab Please note: Unfortunately this role does not consider applications looking for sponsorship Role DetailsReporting to the Mine Planning Superintendent, you will facilitate the safe and optimal extraction of gold from underground mining operations.
