We are looking for a Lead Electrical Engineer with extensive experience in mining, industrial and mineral processing projects. Fluor is currently executing several key projects and is seeking an experienced engineer to lead the electrical team. Role Accountabilities: We are looking for a motivated Lead Electrical Engineer for a billion-dollar plus Rare Earths Project. Your key responsibilities will include: Leading the development, checking and approval process to ensure the technical integrity of project drawings and documentation such as scope of work, datasheets, and other project baseline documents in an orderly and timely manner. Undertake technical verification of project deliverables produced by other disciplines to contribute to your technical expertise. Be part of a leadership team on large multi-disciplinary EPCM projects. Provide guidance and mentoring to less experienced engineers and designers to foster a culture of collaboration and co-operation with other disciplines. Develop and review estimates, schedules, progress reports, labour forecasts etc. Interpret and apply client, national and international standards to design documentation and support client driven activity such as workshops and internal toll-gating. Review and check calculations, equipment specifications and vendor offers/submissions. Qualifications, Experience & Skills Understand project life-cycle requirements to provide robust guidance and solutions. Experience in software design tools such as Smart Plant, Digsilent PowerFactory, ETAP, SKM Power Tools, CDEGS etc. is desirable. Extensive industry experience with an In-depth understanding of Functional Safety practices and solutions Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with management, team members, clients, vendors, and other stakeholders to build strong relationships.
