Reporting to the Manager Engineering Civil and Mechanical, you will be responsible for providing engineering expertise to the broader Asset Management and Operations Teams. The primary purpose of the Superintendent Infrastructure is to support Roy Hill to meet its business targets through providing: Lead team of engineers and provide engineering support to Engineering, Port, Rail, Process Plant and Mine Develop a culture where a high value is placed upon conformance to plan, providing clear performance expectations to direct reports, establishing strong links with stakeholders Working closely with Reliability teams and Operations in delivering agreed deliverables Working closely with sustaining capital projects and major projects at HanRoy in providing technical support with the team in delivering projects for Operations Bringing authority and influence working collaboratively and taking initiative Duties: Leading a team of engineers and building a strong positive culture Undertake appropriate Risk Management in all related engineering and project activities Leading in support within engineering team while maintaining standards and specifications for the Roy Hill operations Responsible for allocation of engineering activities and technical expertise for mechanical/structural related engineering issues Improvement of Roy Hill programs, reporting, and tracking systems Skills and Experience: Advanced problem-solving skills with the logical and practical approach Excellent stakeholder negotiation and management skills Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to key stakeholders Bachelor's degree in civil/mechanical/other engineering 10 years of experience Perth ROC Facilities: Free on-site parking at remote operational centre (ROC) Modern spacious office with break-out facilities In-house café providing variety of hot & cold food options and barista coffee Flexi Leave available to all Perth based office staff Flexible working hours outside of core business hours Active social club with community events and activities for employees Lifestyle, Learning and Recreation initiative which provide events for your family About the Company: Roy Hill is a world class mining company, leading the way through innovative, integrated mining rail and port operations, to export iron ore safely and efficiently from West Australia's Pilbara region.
