Here, we challenge boundaries, and your expertise will play a key role in supporting the Mining Engineering team to enhance sales support and assist customers in optimizing productivity with their Komatsu fleet. Moreover, you'll contribute to shaping how Komatsu delivers technology solutions in the field. As a member of a high-performing national team of experienced mining engineers, you'll be involved in sales, aftermarket, technology, and product development support for the Komatsu Australia Business across Australia, New Zealand, and New Caledonia. This role involves dealing with diverse customers, commodities, equipment, and locations. This presents a valuable opportunity to leverage your existing knowledge of the mining industry and expand your experience to new commodities. Your deep understanding of the mining process and value drivers will enable you to conduct application studies at customer sites and deliver targeted solutions. The impact of your work will strengthen strategic partnerships, positioning you as Komatsu's representative both in the field and the boardroom. Practical onsite experience in mine planning or production coordinator roles. Experience planning for large and varied fleets is desirable. Experience in conducting CAPEX justifications or engaging in Continuous Improvement programs. Expertise in Fleet Management Systems with a proven track record of analyzing and extracting insights from extensive datasets. Technical Proficiency: Expertise in data analysis, core mining processes, and financial evaluations. Proficiency in MS Office. Practical onsite experience in mine planning or production coordinator roles. Desirable Skills: Six Sigma/LEAN (Green Belt preferred), and proficiency in root cause analysis. Familiarity with SigmaXL/Minitab, MS Project, and Power BI/DAX coding. Experience with Fleet Management Systems and a proven track record of analyzing and extracting insights from extensive datasets. Personal Attributes: Effective communication and strategic influencing skills. Ability to foster relationships. Strong accountability, action-oriented mindset, and proficiency in multidisciplinary teamwork. Quickly grasps customer operations and pain points, demonstrating a rapid learning capability.
