If so, Mackay Regional Council (MRC) invites you to join our team as a Principal Civil Engineer, playing a pivotal role in the development and delivery of detailed designs for MRC's Infrastructure & Operations Projects. As a key senior member of the Design Services Program, you will: Manage a program of high-quality engineering designs through external consultants. Provide mentoring, technical advice, and information to internal staff and external consultants. Lead predominantly civil engineering designs and detailed designs for various areas and disciplines. Report directly to the Executive Manager Design Services. Requirements: Tertiary qualifications in Engineering from a recognised university. Qualifications acceptable for membership of the Institute of Engineers, Australia as a Professional Engineer. Extensive design experience in the public or private sector relevant to civil infrastructure planning and design.
