Electrician - Condition Monitoring (NSW Wetherill Park) Our incumbent Electrical contractor working with us on the Sydney Water CM contract withdrew from providing this service at the end of June. Now that we have finally secured a new 5-year contract we require the services of a new electrical team which we envisage being the part time services of the previous contractor’s senior electrician (now with his own company) and an electrician employed by SRG. The Role: Reporting to the Sydney Region Business Manager, your role as an Electrician in our Condition Monitoring Team will be a full-time position based at our Wetherill Park office with the bulk of the work servicing clients within the greater Sydney and Illawarra locales. Key Responsibilities: Undertaking electrical condition monitoring of low voltage motors, the drawing of oil samples for analysis, assisting with high voltage motors with a view to taking a lead in this area. Undertake scheduled site equipment electrical condition monitoring surveys and analysis. Motor Circuit Analysis HV Motor DLA Testing & Analysis HV Motor Partial Discharge Testing & Analysis Thermographic Inspection HV Transformer Oil Sampling Client liaison for scheduling purposes Reporting The Successful Applicant Will Ideally be/have: Qualified/Licensed Electrician Minimum 3-5 years post training industry experience Drivers Licence Thermographic experience/ certification would be advantageous Willingness to pick up additional condition monitoring skills as opportunities arise Practical/hands on mechanical experience and knowledge Strong communication and people skills Have safety as your number one priority About Us: SRG Global is a diversified industrial services company.
