As such, we are thrilled to announce that we are currently looking for an Electronics Engineer who will conceive, design, develop and test these exciting new products and technologies, by providing engineering analysis, prototyping, risk assessment and appropriate testing. The role initially will be a fixed term 12-month contract with the possibility of transitioning into a full-time position working Mondays to Fridays at our beautiful office located in Windsor, Brisbane. What you will be doing Conceive, design, develop and test electrical electronics and robotic systems for GroundProbe's products, through engineering analysis, prototyping, risk assessment and appropriate testing; Develop hardware solutions that meet the cross-functional stakeholder requirements including product reliability, manufacturability, cost and time to market; Build manufacturing and maintenance needs into systems, electronic designs, and ensuring that products are accurately documented for manufacturing, maintenance and usage; Work safely, and with regard to the safety of others, including identification and eliminations of hazards in the workplace. Build safety into designs and methods of working. What you will bring A University Degree in an appropriate Engineering discipline (Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic). A master's degree in engineering would be highly regarded; Strong experience in schematic and Circuit Board (PCB) design, preferably with Altium; Proven expertise in product development, compliance testing (Functional, Safety, EMC, etc.), prototyping, and testing of complex engineering equipment and/or systems.
