Job Title Supply Chain 6mth Intern Job title: Philips Healthcare Supply Chain Intern - 6 Months: We have a requirement for a supply chain intern for 6 months to work for Philips Healthcare in the ANZ service logistics team, to work on a process improvement project related to field transducer returns and also to support our existing team with a number of reporting and operational tasks. Your role: The greater impact of this role.The main element is a change in our existing returns process particularly for transducers from our customer sites across ANZ. There is a large potential for cost saving due to the current practice of dispatching engineers to site to facilitate transducer returns, resulting in taking engineers away from more critical work and spending many hours travelling to and from site for a task that can be completed remotely if done accurately and efficiently. Detail elements of the team and stakeholders for this role.The successful candidate will report directly to the ANZ Service Logistics Manager and will also support the other two members of the logistics team with a number of other tasks. The role will be based in North Ryde with some potential for hybrid working. This is a 6 month role and will allow the successful candidate to work within a high performing team with exposure to a number of logistics functions in the healthcare industry. You're the right fit if: 1.A background in supply chain and logistics and someone with the analytical mindset of taking an existing process, working with our internal teams on changes and improvements and implementing a new solution to benefit internal and external stakeholders. Strong verbal and written communication The successful candidate will ideally be in the second or third year of a logistics/supply chain or similar degree. Strong MS Office skills with intermediate/advanced MS Excel. Exposure to ERP platforms such as SAP beneficial A good communicator with a problem solving and collaborative mindset About Philips We are a health technology company.
