Position: Braemar College is seeking an enthusiastic Teacher of Science and/or Mathematics with a passion for education. Initially teaching in the Senior School which start at Year 9. Responsibilities: The successful candidate will: Maintain high standards of learning and teaching, assessment and reporting that are relevant, collaborative and future-focused. Use data to inform differentiated practice. Plan collaboratively with teaching teams. Be enthusiastic about teaching Science. Deliver and promote student wellbeing within the College. About You: It is expected that you will: Be enthusiastic about the education of young people. Demonstrate knowledge of the Science and Mathematics curriculum. Have recent experience in teaching Science. Be a highly skilled and dedicated teacher that contributes to the team. Display sound knowledge of teaching pedagogies and practices with a focus on developing students' knowledge and skills. Have a tertiary teaching qualification that enables you to teach Science up to Year 12 is preferred. Have a proven ability to participate effectively in a team environment. Hold current Teacher registration with VIT.
