The team The Information Technology team forms part of the Transformation Office, Digital, Data & Technology which is accountable for driving ASIC's transformation agenda, including the use of digital and data products as well as providing the technology platforms. Digital Workplace Services (DWS) is part of the larger IT services team. We have embarked on a major digital transformation journey which will make ASIC a 'best in class' regulator supporting the Australian financial markets. We areundertaking major technology projects that will transform our business and continue our significant technology transformation in a number of areas such as modern digital workplace, mobility, security and cloud, with an increased focus on data sharing, analytics and automation. The role: Be a trusted advisor to ASIC business units and IT stakeholders, understand the business challenges, formulate solution options, form recommendations and guide execution. Develop blueprints and patterns to drive standardisation and efficiency in design and provisioning technology solutions. Produce solution and infrastructure designs (both high level and very detailed) across modern workplace, public cloud, network and security technology domains in line with ASIC IT Strategy in conjunction with Subject Matter Experts, Project Managers, and Solution and Infrastructure Designers. Socialise, present and gain acceptance of your solution design artefacts by the relevant architectural and technical operational stakeholders. Implement operational solutions based on the EA target reference architecture and IT's Technology principles. Consult with customer facing groups to understand client and customer needs in a rapidly evolving environment. Make solution and infrastructure design decisions that ensure effective, secure, scalable, convergent, flexible and manageable solutions of high standards. About you: Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology and relevant work experience. Solid experience designing integrated solutions and delivering transformation across Microsoft Modern Workplace, Networking and Security services. Liaise with external government agencies on transition of solutions, infrastructure, data transfers and systems access are highly desired. Experience in AWS and Azure eco systems and solution design. Experience architecting enterprise infrastructure solutions in conjunction with range of infrastructure technologies Oracle databases, SAN, VMWare, Windows OS, MS SQL, Linux, WebLogic, F5. Experience with developing reference architecture, roadmap, policies, and standard patterns. About ASIC ASIC's remit is one of the broadest of regulators across the world.
