Caterpillar Customer Experience group is a multi-disciplinary team of UX designers, UX Architects, Researchers, Writers, Content Strategists and Program Managers: we care deeply about the people who use our products. The UX practice plays pivotal role in shaping Caterpillar's digital products and services by gathering insights about our user's needs, behaviors, aspirations and challenges to curate informed and inspiring solutions. We collaborate closely with each other and with the engineering, marketing and product management to create industry leading products that deliver value to the people who use them and for their businesses. We are looking for a UI/UX Designer at a junior level to turn our software's into easy-to-use products for our customers and end users. Responsibilities include gathering user requirements, conceptualizing, creating graphic elements and building navigation components. Responsibilities: - A solid understanding of user-centered design, conceptualize, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, usability and accessibility concerns. - Ability to iterate designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently. - Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions - Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and stakeholders - Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps - Design graphical elements for the user interface - Identify and troubleshoot UX problems. - Adhere to design standards on fonts, colours, usage patterns, components and images Requirements and skills: - Masters of equivalent degree in an accredited Interaction Design, Computer Science or User Experience Design curriculum or experience in the same - Portfolio of design projects - Knowledge of wireframe tools - Figma preferred - Team spirit: strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders - Experience criteria - 0 to 1 year Caterpillar is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EEO).
