Sounds like your kind of workplace? Fantastic We have an exciting opportunity for a Graphic Design Officer to join the Communications and Engagement department. This newly created position will play a key role in supporting the Brand and Design Advisor and wider Communications and Engagement team to ensure Council's graphic design requirements are met. The focus of this position is the development of high-quality and creative graphic design work for application across all communications tools to ensure professional Council branding and effective communication. From concept to print production, this role will produce graphic designs for a wide range of Council collateral including but not limited to printed marketing collateral, social media tiles, publications, templates, and website graphics. Through collaboration with multiple internal stakeholders, this role will support customers to ensure graphic design solutions meet their communication needs, with focus on accessible and inclusive visual design. What you'll bring to the role: Tertiary qualification in graphic design or similar or demonstrated relevant experience and work skills. Proficiency and experience in graphic design software Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) Demonstrated experience in the production of printed promotional materials, digital campaigns and publications to a high standard and within deadlines Ability to support the Brand and Design Advisor where required in providing brand advice and implementation across Council. What's on offer? Permanent part time position (22.8 hours per week, option to spread hours throughout the week). Competitive salary package starting at $51,706 pro rata (0.6 EFT) total remuneration per annum that includes 11% super and annual leave loading.
