About the service: The Head to Health service is a brand new service for adults in Western Sydney seeking emotional wellbeing and mental health support. The service provides a combination of peer-led recovery and clinical support and a safe, welcoming and supportive environment for people experiencing psychological distress. Allowing low risk individuals to identify alternatives to presenting to the Emergency Department and gaining access support from trained mental health professional within their community, outside a clinical setting. On Offer: Based in Parramatta Full-time, Permanent opportunity Paying on HPSS SSE Level 8 plus Super Salary packaging options (up to $15,899 tax free) Meals and entertainment allowance of up to $2,650 Leave loading at 17.5% Stride Rewards – access to discounts from 100s of retailers (fashion, food and fitness) One paid wellbeing leave day per year Purchase up to 5 additional leave days in a 12 month period Paid parental leave Excellent training & career development Role overview: Meet and greet consumers, members of the public and visitors to the practice in a friendly and courteous manner Taking incoming calls and directing to the appropriate member of staff Appointment scheduling and maintenance of clients including the ability to register consumers into client management system General Office duties and maintenance including and not limited to opening and distribution of mail typing, scanning, filing and archiving and preparing documentation for clinical team Assist in the closing and securing of the building at the end of the day General housekeeping to ensure a clean and safe environment for staff and clients Ensure maintenance of privacy and confidentiality in relation to consumers Adhere to appropriate standards of safety, welfare and health care for staff and consumers Requirements: Ideally a Cert III in Medical Administration or similar qualification Excellent administration, time management and organisational skills with attention to detail Ideally previous medical reception/admin experience Well-developed customer service skills Knowledge of the mental health/NFP sector with an ability to liaise with people from diverse backgrounds, government, non- government and community organisations Demonstrated communication, interpersonal, problem solving and organisational skills Proven record in working closely with and being a successful member of a multi-disciplinary team Previous experience and knowledge of Medicare Item Numbers and billing procedures are highly desirable Possess proficient IT skills including Microsoft Office applications Must be eligible to apply/currently hold a WWCC Must hold/be willing to apply for NDIS worker screening clearance Vaccination against COVID-19 is a requirement for all positions and is in accordance with Stride policy.
