PRIMARY DETAIL Build networks and collaborate with industry leaders Part time (17.5 hours per week), 2 years fixed term Located in Cicada Innovations, Eveleigh - in the heart of Sydney's Tech Precinct THE ROLE The Faculty of Science and Engineering at Macquarie University is seeking an experienced Administrator to provide comprehensive administration and operational support to the Semiconductor Sector Service Bureau (S3B). You will manage day to day operations and administration activity for the S3B ensuring that high quality and efficient administrative support is provided to the S3B Director, the S3B team and key stakeholders. Reporting to the Industry Engagement Manager and the S3B Director, you will: Respond to a range of enquiries from clients, partner organisations, visitors and the public regarding S3B's activities. Coordinate meetings for S3B Board, Advisory Committee, and other relevant working groups, including agenda and minute preparation, venue booking, catering and IT facilities. Liaise with colleagues to provide administrative support and coordination of events and workshops and assist with the dissemination and layout of reports and digital content. Provide financial, purchasing, procurement and travel administrative services and support to staff as required. Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders. About You You are a highly motivated professional with experience in delivering operational and administrative support in a complex, fast-paced environment. You will have a strong customer-centric approach with the ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. You are organised, resilient and a team player with suitable skills and relevant experience to hit the ground running in this role. You will have excellent communication and collaboration skills, and an eye for detail with a strong focus on continuous improvement to achieve effectiveness and efficiency in processes. You will be able to communicate and present information clearly to a wide variety of people. You will need to be agile and a self-starter who can initiate and follow through and enjoy working in a fast paced, interesting organisation with a passion for customer service. About Us The Semiconductor Sector Service Bureau (S3B) is committed to the development of semiconductor capability and will work with local high-tech companies to stimulate innovation and growth across the emerging semiconductor ecosystem. A joint venture between The University of Sydney, Macquarie University and UNSW, and partnering with CSIRO, the Australian National Fabrication Facility (ANFF), and companies across the Australian semiconductor industry, S3B will develop networks, training and market intelligence in semiconductor technology and build a globally-networked, cross-functional team that spans the entire semiconductor value chain.
