Forward thinking, TMT market leader in their area of expertise on the hunt for a collaborative lawyer This legal team is open to hiring an Australian qualified lawyer or New Zealand qualified lawyer for their Melbourne team. This is an international brand with a high-performing, agile legal team. As well as being front-facing business partners and collaborators to their stakeholders, the expectation is for you to be capable of advising across a broad spectrum of topics, day to day you may be: Meeting contractual and regulatory requirements and protection of the business's interests. Drafting, negotiating and advising on a range of contracts across multiple external parties. Contributing to team meetings and provide solid guidance and support from a legal standpoint. Meeting the ongoing business requirements in terms of IP, compliance, risk, and governance. Ensuring stakeholders and their teams are meeting risk and compliance requirements. Supporting and mentoring staff as and when required. You will have 5-6 years of experience and ideally worked in a large corporate law firm or large international commercial business. Knowledge and experience within the TMT sector are a bonus. Most importantly you will be a proactive collaborator whose communication and rapport-building skills come naturally to them. You'll be able to demonstrate the ability to process the details and come up with innovative solutions. There is a comprehensive benefits package and an attractive salary package on offer.
