Seeking an Experienced Pre-Construction Manager to join a growing team based in Hemmant. Due to continued growth, this well-established and privately-owned organisation is seeking an experienced Pre-Construction Manager. Specialising in supplying customised workshop solutions across Australia, this pivotal role will be responsible for managing all aspects of the pre-construction phase, including contractual terms, regulations, and compliance. This permanent full-time position is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and highly experienced Pre-Construction Administrator or Manager looking to take the next step in their career. The right candidate will have strong time management and customer service skills, the ability to thrive in a challenging and fast-paced environment, and will be self-motivated. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the pre-construction phase, including contractual terms, regulatory and compliance, and other relevant documentation up until the Project Go Live date. You will also be the first point of contact for the client throughout pre-construction and work closely with the Estimators, Designers, Drafters, and more to ensure each project progresses in a timely manner. Key Responsibilities: Lead preconstruction services, including assisting sales to close, design, budgeting, and scheduling Review the scope of construction work to be completed Reconcile estimates with consultants, subbies, and design team members to ensure cost efficiency Prepare and Present Conceptual Estimating Coordinate and evaluate feedback from departments within the company (Operations, Finance, etc.), the Project Manager, and the Design Manager during the estimating and construction process Collaborate directly with the Projects Director and Sales Director on projects, opportunities, and bids Develop pre-contract commercial strategies Conduct contract negotiations with subcontractors & suppliers and manage significant claims and conflict resolution as required Key Requirements: Self-motivated, energetic, and driven individual with a positive attitude 3-5 years' experience working as a Pre-Construction Administrator or Pre-Construction Manager Strong attention to detail Robust administrative skills and the ability to multitask Express critical thinking and problem-solving skills Ability to work within a team environment and autonomously Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Excellent written and verbal communication skills Based in Hemmant, this excellent opportunity will allow for the successful candidate to assist in internal process improvement and documentation.
