We're seeking an enthusiastic and customer focused Receptionist to join our Brickworks Ltd team at our Carrington Street office in Sydney CBD, for a fixed-term period, up to 12-months. Reporting to the Senior Executive Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for our office and be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, managing the front desk reception and assisting with day-to-day administration tasks. This role supports a broad range of staff and divisions across the group. Duties include but are not limited to: Manage the telephone switchboard and answer incoming calls into the organisation; screening of calls, assisting or transferring to relevant staff. Meet and greet visitors to the organisation, direct them to the appropriate staff member and offer refreshments. Manage the reception area; ensuring visitors are signed in/out to meet OH&S requirements. Manage meeting rooms and calendar bookings. Co-ordinate mail and couriers, including opening and sorting of incoming mail and arranging for couriers and preparing outgoing mail. Manage office consumable orders. Arrange catering for meetings and functions. Maintain our internal contacts database (active directory), ensuring this is accurate and up to date. Perform administrative and secretarial duties such as typing, filing and data entry as required. Assist with WHS activities including inductions and other tasks as required. Ensure reception area and mail room are kept clean and tidy. Raise purchase orders and processing invoices using JDE. Complete assigned projects as required. Assist senior management and other administrative staff as required. Success Requirements Tertiary qualification in a related discipline. Previous experience in a receptionist/general administration role preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - you'll be responsible for managing the front-line relationships in a professional and prompt manner. Fantastic time management, attention to detail and organisational skills - you will assist with various administration tasks as required. A positive work ethic and friendly telephone manner - you'll be the first point of contact for the Brickworks office.
