Part of a global organisation, this successful organisation manufactures products on behalf of some of the world’s largest consumer goods, retail, and food businesses. About the role Reporting to a divisional General Counsel and working closely with the Human Resources team, the Legal Counsel supports the business by delivering timely and pragmatic advice on a broad range of workplace relations and employment law matters. This broad and dynamic role includes: Advising on a wide range of matters such as employment contracts and policies, industrial instruments. Investigations and performance management Providing legal and strategic recommendations regarding implications of significant workplace changes. Managing workplace relations disputes. Collaborating with the business in relation to compliance with workplace relations legal requirements. About you You will be an employment or industrial relations lawyer with 3-6 years’ PQE. Specialist workplace relations experience, strong communication skills, commercial acumen, an ability to think critically, and the ability to work in a team environment will support your success in the role. This role would particularly suit a lawyer with experience in industrial relations matters within a similar industrial or manufacturing environment (or in the union movement).
