DISABILITY SUPPORT WORKERS Our client is a southern European woman who lives with her family in the Northern suburbs, after undertaking significant rehabilitation for an Acquired Spinal Cord Injury over 20 years ago. Due to specific cultural requirements, our client is seeking mature Support Workers that are experienced, confident, reliable, respectful, resilient & articulate that will complement the family unit. A sense of pride in their work is a must. All successful Support Workers that join the team to assist our client will understand the complexities of Spinal Cord Injuries, have fluent English skills, have a strong work ethic and a proactive approach to ensuring all the client needs are met ongoing. Essential Requirements (Current): Certificate III in Individual Support (or Equivalent) First Aid Certificate CPR Certificate Manual Handling Certificate NDIS Worker Check and Working with Children Check Evidence of 3 x COVID 19 Vaccinations Valid Driver's Licence and a reliable vehicle with Comprehensive Car Insurance Clear communication skills Desirable Requirements: Minimum 12 months experience working as a Support Worker Previous experience working with physical disabilities in particular spinal cord injury.
