Reporting to the Business Manager, the Sales Consultant will provide superior point of sales customer service via sales activities. Reporting to the Business Manager, the Sales Consultant will provide superior point of sales customer service via sales activities including creating quotations, follow up and closing sales whilst maintaining client relationships, whilst promoting products and services throughout Western Australia and Northern Territory. The Sales Consultant will utilise a coordinated team effort to deliver quality outcomes for all stakeholders and customers. The Sales Consultant is responsible for the sales of products across all business sectors (Mining, Commercial and Industrial), whilst maintaining compliance of quality processes, procedures, efficiency, accuracy, and promptness of work outputs and assisting other team members to achieve work output targets. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Sales Provide detailed quotations to clients. Negotiating and closing sales Create relationships with target specific organisations. Discuss technical information with industry professionals. Request client feedback for improvement of quality processes Assist other team members to win sales. Keep regular contact with clients to reinforce relationships and identify any up-and-coming sales opportunities. Maintain regular follow-up on quotations and record Telemarketing and Follow Up Contact new organisations to establish a need for services. Contact existing clients to see if they require any services or follow up on a progress of quote provided. Receiving general product enquiries, quotations, and orders Operations Create work orders. At the completion of the job, check the work order is complete. non-standard Operations Maintenance Manual (OMM) for clients ABOUT YOU: Education/Certificates: Completion of year 10 or higher Certificate Diploma in Sales & Marketing (or like experience) or higher Experience and Knowledge: Proven sales experience. Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to successfully communicate and liaise with people at all levels, both internal and external High level of customer service. Highly developed consultation sales methodology Understanding and imparting technical information Desirable Experience and Knowledge: Previous experience with pump sales Software Knowledge Requirements: MS Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel) A full position description is available on request.
