The Organisation Redland Premium Fruit are a newly formed organisation in Regional Victoria with already a strong connection to the local community as an employer of 600 people at peak times. They are a Goulbourn Valley based fruit processing and packing enterprise, who are part of the Redland Business Group. They operate fruit packing facilities, cool rooms and warehouses in Mooroopna and Shepparton. They are the result of a large site coming under new ownership, because of this there is considerable appetite for investment, growth, and modernisation of the operation. Operating in both domestic and international export markets, this vertically integrated agri-business is investing in its future success from a people and operations perspective. Six Degrees Executive are exclusively recruiting for a newly created position managing their operations function. This is a greenfield role which will give you the opportunity to create a legacy within an organisation with ambitious growth plans. The Opportunity The Manager of Project Delivery plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of Redland business group's capital works program, which includes building two greenfield facilities in QLD & WA, along with other cool room upgrades or packaging lines installations. With an annual budget of approximately $20 million, including projects valued up to $10 million, this position demands a seasoned professional with exceptional project management skills. Responsibilities encompass overseeing the comprehensive capital works schedule, leading a team of Project Managers, and meticulously tracking project budgets and costs. Additionally, the Manager will define project objectives, allocate roles, and prepare detailed project plans while adhering to Redland's Project Delivery Framework. This role also involves presenting project status reports to the Project Steering Committees and collaborating closely with the Procurement Manager to manage end-to-end tender processes. Skills and Experience Required The ideal candidate should bring over 5 years of experience in effectively managing project delivery within manufacturing preferably food, demonstrating proficiency in handling projects valued up to $10 million. Their expertise extends to overseeing a diverse range of projects, including new builds, fit-outs, and refurbishments, showcasing adaptability and versatility in project management. Possession of a relevant professional qualification in project management or quantity surveying provides a valuable foundation. With a strong grasp of technical, engineering, and project management best practices, they also possess a solid understanding of basic accounting and finance principles. This candidate stands out for their exceptional team leadership, interpersonal finesse, and unwavering attention to detail, all of which are essential attributes for success in this role.
