Rio Tinto are expanding operations in the Pilbara to epic proportions while introducing next generation technologies to deliver greater efficiency, lower production costs and improved health, safety and environmental performance About the Position: WorkPac are currently seeking an experienced Electrical & Controls Project Engineer to join our Client Rio Tinto, based on site in Dampier. Dive into a dynamic role supporting Rio Tinto ' s Maintenance Planning and Engineering department to deliver projects up to $2m in value. This role is available on a 5:2, 4:3 roster for an initial 6 month duration, with the potential to extend. Key Responsibilities Will Include: Delivering electrical and control systems projects up to roughly $2mil in value. Managing the projects from options study through to construction and operational readiness. Following the RTIO Finance and Dampier Port Capital Process to obtain project funding. Engaging stakeholders and end users throughout the project. Skills & Experience Required: 5 years of Electrical or Control Systems Projects, Engineering or Technician experience. Demonstrate a strong safety culture. High level of attention to detail and organisational skills. Strong communications skills and stakeholder engagement strategies. Proficiency in the use of SAP, and understanding RTIO Work Management Process is desirable.
