About the role The Microsoft 365 Solutions Engineer is responsible for ensuring the Central Equity and MICM businesses make the most of its investments in the Microsoft 365 platform. The role ensures outstanding customer service is at the heart of everything and helps improve business performance through Microsoft solutions. The Microsoft 365 Solutions Engineer will design, develop, deploy and help support business solutions utilising the Microsoft suite of products including SharePoint, Teams / Phone, OneDrive, Power Platform, Dynamics CRM / Business Central and Azure (Data Warehouse / Storage). The role acts as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all Microsoft 365 related projects and escalations from end users and the IT Support Team. The Microsoft 365 Solutions Engineer will have a deep understanding of Microsoft system and data security to ensure existing and new solutions are secure. Responsibilities, Skills and Experience Five plus (5) years experience operating in a similar Microsoft 365 Solutions Engineer, Microsoft Solution Consultant, Microsoft Developer, Support / Systems Administrator / Engineering role Outstanding customer service along with excellent communication skills (written, oral and interpersonal) to effectively liaise with internal and external clients to understand business requirements Maximising the Company’s Microsoft 365 investment and improve business performance by driving the adoption, solution design, development and deployment of Microsoft 365 solutions and Azure cloud / security services Knowledge and experience working with Microsoft 365 Information Protection and Compliance Management Demonstrated Experience in planning, designing, developing, configuring, implementing and supporting the Microsoft 365 platform, including SharePoint Online implementations, Power Platform, Teams, Dynamics CRM / Business Central, Azure (Data Warehouse / Storage) and Security PowerShell expertise is desirable One or more of the following Microsoft certifications would be desirable: o Microsoft 365 Administrator o Microsoft Windows Server 2012/16/19 o Microsoft Azure Administrator o Microsoft Azure Architect Technologies o Microsoft 365 Security Administration (MS-500) Excellent organisational skills, high attention to detail and the ability to multi-task and priorities workloads Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team Education and Qualifications Relevant IT tertiary qualification in Computer Science, IT Engineering or IT Business Computing.
