Belt Conveyor Components Technical Sales Representative About Us NEPEAN Conveyors (a division of NEPEAN™) provides fully engineered turnkey conveying and materials handling solutions, from concept to commissioning for some of the world's largest mining companies. NEPEAN Conveyors also provides aftermarket services for belt conveyor components, repairs, refurbishment, upgrade and field maintenance and technical support. Our Opportunity This newly created position will support NEPEAN Conveyors in the distribution of a series of new belt conveyor components for the Australian Market. The range of belt conveyor components are industry proven with a long track record of performance in many international markets. The Technical Representative will focus on sales and business development, while also providing hands-on technical support when necessary. The position is a full-time permanent opportunity, based in NSW. This position will require travel throughout NSW and eventually interstate once certain milestones are achieved. Key responsibilities: Seek new opportunities across the mining industry for our belt conveyor products and associated services. Develop key customer relationships. Respond swiftly and courteously to customer enquiries. Proactively inform customers of quotation and order updates. Follow up on aftermarket support of our component range. Support marketing and showcasing of our belt conveyor components. The Right Person NEPEAN Conveyors is looking for a driven salesperson with a technical background. The ideal candidate will have: 2-5 years relevant sales experience in the belt conveyor or bulk handing industry. Mechanical Engineering Degree or Post Trade Engineering Diploma would be highly regarded. Customer focused with a professional demeanor. Strong networking skills to develop new opportunities. Results focused and responsive to goals and objectives. Ability to travel across NSW to visit customer sites. Current Driver’s License. Full working rights in Australia. Proficient in Microsoft Office Products and CRM Systems.
