Job Title: Windows Server Engineer Location: Ultimo Position Type: 6-Month contract with view of extension Our client in Broadcast Media industry is looking for a skilled Windows Server Engineer to join their dynamic team and play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing their Windows server infrastructure. Job Description As a Windows Server Engineer, you will be responsible for the management, maintenance, and optimization of our Windows Server environment. You will work with a talented team of IT professionals and contribute to the growth and stability of our infrastructure. You will be providing level 2 to 3 technical support. Coordinate and deliver development, upgrade projects and maintenance of Windows Infrastructure. Development and maintenance of the client's Windows Infrastructure, responsibilities include and not limited to managing Windows servers 2012 to 2022, Active Directory services, VMware, DNS, DHCP and Group Policies, and physical hardware builds. Maintain knowledge of client's Windows infrastructure, create and maintain technical standards and documentation. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Windows Server OS & Administration: Proficient in Windows Server 2016 through to Windows Server 2022, including installation, configuration, and ongoing administration. VMware vCenter: Experience in managing and upgrading ESXi hosts, as well as the administration of the VMware virtualization platform. Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager: Responsible for Windows Server patching and ensuring system security. Active Directory: In-depth knowledge, including Domain Controller administration, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy management. Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Windows Server, VMware Certified Professional (VCP), and Cisco certifications, would be a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team. Nice to have: Citrix Experience: Familiarity with Citrix Cloud/DaaS platform.
