Responsibilities in brief: You will analyse, model, and document various timber, concrete, and steel structures. Ancillary duties include project coordination, liaison with consultants, site appraisal, and compliance inspections. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following: Degree in civil/structural engineering from a recognised and reputable institute 9-15 years of local experience in residential structural design Local experience in designing and conducting structural inspections of reinforced concrete, timber and steel structures , as well as alterations and additions. High proficiency in CAD drafting / utilising a drafting team. Proficiency in structural analysis and modelling using a variety of software packages. Sound knowledge of the National Construction Code and relevant Deemed-to-Satisfy structural Australian Standards that it draws upon Sound understanding of local construction practices, particularly those of the residential construction market. Absolute attention to detail and care towards their daily tasks Motivated individual looking for consistent progression in their career, committed to Continued Professional Development A Member of Engineers Australia with or working towards CPEng A White Card and current New South Wales Drivers License Excellent written and verbal communication with good interpersonal relationship-building skills.
