Join our Services APAC team within Services division in Australia as an Industrial Engineering Technologist to help us take our Rydalmere Service Centre to the next level. What you will be doing day to day? Manage all open engineering requests associated with abovementioned activity for complex repairs, upgrades, retrofit or reverse engineering Conduct equipment inspection, root cause analysis, site visits to identify repairs, upgrades and retrofitting. Follow Technical specifications, provide comments/exceptions, input technical know-how as required to ensure equipment is technically fit for purpose Report and document areas of technical risk and level of design review associated with Projects Challenge traditional Sulzer thinking to ensure we remain ahead of the competition without taking excessive risk Liaise with other Sulzer Entities, specialist functions (e.g. Hydraulics, C&I) and key sub-contractors to clarify client requirements and ensure technical aspects have been adequately addressed Assist the Engineering presence, when required, on customer visits, for technical assessment, bid clarification, client kick off meetings, etc Provide technical advice and support to Order Related Engineering at handover and throughout the Project execution phase What you will bring to Sulzer? To be a successful Industrial Engineering Technologist, you will ideally have: Trade or equivalent specialisation skills in electrical motor repair- remanufacturing and solutions. 5 years minimum experience in design and service of Rotating Equipment Electrical.
