Mount Isa is a great place to live and work About the role This position provides support for the management and coordination of activities within the Travel Services office in the most cost-effective and efficient manner in accordance with Queensland Health and local policies and guidelines. Operate with limited supervision as a member of a small team in the performance of operational duties for the Travel Services office. Internal communication is primarily with hospital staff arranging travel and accommodation, officers of Financial Services and hospital(s) patients. External Communication is primarily with organisations/vendors providing accommodation and travel services. Requirements Demonstrated computer and keyboard skills with knowledge of various software applications. High Communication skills (including written and oral in a confidential and empathetic manner). Proven flexibility and sound organisations skills with the ability to manage a heavy workload, competing priorities and ability to meet deadlines and establish work priorities. Knowledge of or an ability to acquire knowledge of relevant procedures and policies, regulations and standards. Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team as well as autonomously with minimum supervision. This is a VPD risk role and may require evidence of vaccination or immunity to: Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, Tuberculosis and COVID-19. Interested?
