PRIMARY DETAIL Salary Package: From $80,750 - $91,815 (HEW Level 5), plus 17% superannuation and annual leave loading Appointment Type: Full time, 12 month fixed term Location: Macquarie University, Wallumattagal Campus, Dharug land, North Ryde THE ROLE We are seeking a Student Mobility Administrator to support the University's global student mobility programs, promotions, events and strategies. In this role, you will assist with the coordination, preparation, and promotion of the mobility programs to prospective students. Part of the role will be composed of organising and running promotional events and presentations to increase awareness of the value of studying abroad and the student mobility opportunities offered at Macquarie University. You will also be focused on assessing and offering appropriate programs to eligible students. Key responsibilities include: Receive and resolve student mobility Inquiries including but not limited to the explanation of degree structure intricacies and unit equivalencies and provide advice on the costs and funding of a mobility program Work with the Student Mobility Coordinators on the assessment of student's eligibility to participate in a student mobility programs through understanding degree structures as well as eligibility to access the funding available Process student enrolments and grade transfers before and after program Provide advice regarding the selective scholarship programs available including but not limited to the explanation of the selection process Keep the content related to student mobility programs up to date on the Macquarie University inbound and outbound website Work on the organisation of promotional events and presentations related to Mobility Programs including but not limited to MQ Open Days, the Exchange Fair, the Welcome, pre departure and New Colombo Plan Scholars events About Us The position sits under Office of The Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) (DVC-A). DVC-A is the Chief Academic Officer of the University and is a member of the University Executive. The Office of the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Education) within the DVC-A portfolio develops and drives the University's strategy for building and enhancing entry and progression pathways and leads the ongoing improvement of academic offerings at Macquarie. The Student Mobility team manages the planning, delivery, reporting and evaluation of student mobility programs (exchange and study abroad) for both MQ students going overseas as well as international students coming to MQ. Another core function for the team is engagement with our global partners and key external stakeholders.
