Join global company working in Asset Management Support wider team with general administration duties Full time role based in Melbourne CBD VIC About the opportunity The role is part of the national FM team responsible for the data integrity and maintenance of the assets maintained across the Immigration network and based at Melbourne CBD VIC. All assets require timely update each time they are maintained, moved, replaced, and modified in the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS). The key responsibilities of the role will include Assist the Technical Manager in maintaining and updating the asset databases within the CMMS Platform (MEX and MRI), ensuring accuracy and completeness of information. Conduct regular audits to verify asset data and resolve any discrepancies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather asset information and ensure its proper documentation. Assist the Technical Manager in developing and implementing data management procedures and best practices in a continuous improvement environment Generate reports and provide insights on asset utilisation, performance, and lifecycle. Assist in the development and implementation of asset tracking systems. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulations related to asset management. Support the Technical Manager with system transition and upgrade activities. The position is instrumental in ensuring the reconciliation and management of the asset register for each facility and maintain Preventative Maintenance schedule with current scope of works in context of assets and applicable PM regimes. This will also reduce the likelihood for claim against Serco by the Department for assets provided for the delivery of services under this Contract and in line with the RWL model. About you - You will be a dynamic, proactive, and highly motivated individual with the ability to operate in a very fast paced environment. You will be an effective and experienced Scheduler within the Asset Management field who holds a high degree of interpersonal skills and credibility to action work with minimal direction and supervision. Your ideal skills & experience - The highest levels of personal integrity and ethical behaviour Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Information Management) or in Mechanical/Civil/Electrical Engineering; and/or Facilities Management/Asset Management Diploma/Certificate; and/or Project Management Diploma Proven experience in data administration or asset management. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records. Proficiency in using asset management software and databases. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Knowledge of relevant regulations and best practices in asset management. Proven experience in a Facilities Management and Maintenance environment (Essential) Strong understanding of Australian Standards and OEM manuals and their interaction with Preventative Maintenance schedule Advanced knowledge in the MS Office suite including Word, Excel, Project, Outlook, PowerPoint and Visio Excellent knowledge in the working of MEX or MRI (desirable) This is a position of trust and responsibility and to support this we will conduct a thorough probity assessment, which includes a national police check as an essential selection component for this role.
