About the Role Our purpose is to accelerate safety and productivity performance across our Western Australia sites, embracing inclusion and diversity to create a vibrant culture that represents the communities in which we live. This role is FIFO from Perth and working across multiple Iron Ore sites. We currently have multiple opportunities available for safety-focused Electricians to join the Operations Services family. You will demonstrate extensive experience within a fixed plant maintenance environment and the ability to provide detailed scoping and maintenance execution for multi-disciplined workgroups. These roles will be working a dynamic roster (182 shifts per year). Simply explained, this is a variable work schedule designed to meet the highs and lows of work demand, typically found in Shutdown work. With the Dynamic Roster, Operations Services employees will enjoy: Permanent Work with BHP and all associated benefits Competitive remuneration - consistent and reliable income Guaranteed fortnightly pay Leave entitlements - parental, carers bereavement, annual etc About You The successful candidate will possess the following: Electrical trade licence Minimum C class manual drivers licence HV Switching would be advantageous Extensive experience in fixed plant electrical maintenance Experience in detailed scoping and maintenance execution for multi-disciplined workgroups operating in a Fixed Plant Maintenance environment. Experience in a shutdown & outage environment would be advantageous The ability to work within a team environment and build effective working relationships Experience or a fast learner with work management software tools (e.g. 1SAP) Demonstrated computer skills About Our Process At BHP, we are committed to employing individuals who align with the BHP Charter Values and meet the requirements of the role.
