About the Role This is an important role within City of Ryde that is responsible for managing the implementation and rollout of Council's Bus Shelter Contract. You will also play a key part in supporting the team in managing Council's roads, stormwater drainage, footpaths, car parks and civil assets. You will provide professional and technical advice on matters relating to Council's Roads, stormwater drainage and civil infrastructure, as well as assist in the preparation of project briefs, reports and programs related to capital works and asset management. Your commencing annual salary will range from $92,096 to $110,515 CLA at 3.5% superannuation, dependent on your experience and qualifications Key RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Civil EngineeringDemonstrated experience in infrastructure and stormwater design, construction, and managementComputer systems knowledge and skills in asset data collection / management, relevant technical applications, and mappingStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high degree of initiative and flexibility and a demonstrated understanding of issues related to contract managementAbility to build and maintain business relationships with internal and external stakeholdersStrong facilitation, negotiation and conflict-resolution skills and the ability to liaise with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levelsClass C Driver's Licence Please note: In line with Council's COVIDSafe Workplace Policy & Procedure all staff are required to be vaccinated against COVID-19.
