We are looking for a senior administrator who can join our Life Claims and Customer Solutions business. In this role you will be responsible for and to manage a portfolio of permanent/non-active claims by gathering and evaluating detailed objective information to identify and respond to any issues that will assist Asteron to appraise its claims, protect its liability and to improve its relationship with its claimants Your key responsibilities will include: Review the claimant's contract in light of their circumstances and medical history to promptly obtain the appropriate information and establish Asteron's risks and appropriate liability. Evaluate the claimant's medical condition and limitations with regard to their occupation and the functionality required to perform their occupation Obtain and evaluate financial evidence to establish pre- and post -disability income and determine loss of earnings. Inputting data for new claim notifications and correspondence with advisers and customers for variety of products from life, trauma, terminal illness, disability, accident recovery and redundancy benefits. Processing the payment and administration of long term / permanent disability claims Processing disability claim payments approved by Case Managers and completing the corresponding paperwork to the customer and advisor Contributing to accurate maintenance of Death and Disability Claims registers and other data Provide advice and guidance to Claims Administration Roles on workflow, task allocations daily to ensure clear approach to completing administration work/tasks is outlined.
