About the Opportunity Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology currently has an opportunity for a full-time Courier Driver to join their team in Cairns, QLD Rostered hours are between 8 am – 6.30 pm on weekdays and participation in a Saturday roster. Preferred applicants will have a current working knowledge of Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology courier procedures. This position involves the use of Printers, Reports and Doctor Stores. In this role, you will pick up pathology specimens and drop reports and supplies to medical centres and Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology collection centres across the region. There will also be a requirement to perform administration tasks in receipting specimens picked up on the courier runs. In addition, you'll be able to ensure the transport of pathology specimens, stores and medical records happens in a timely manner. You will also have the ability to work autonomously and as part of a wider team which includes couriers, pathology specimen collectors and other laboratory staff, be able to prioritise tasks and work to a schedule, and have a proven ability to work efficiently and accurately. You will need to have held a current C driver’s licence for a minimum of 5 years, have no infringements recorded, and have all 12 points at the time of application. You will have a proven background in customer service, and be able to work effectively as part of a team.
