Full-time position commencing February 2024 Competitive remuneration package with paid overtime available Great work-life balance; 5 day working week Career development and mentoring every 6 weeks What's involved: We are currently seeking an enthusiastic candidate who is interested in completing training and education as an apprentice with a view to becoming a trade-qualified Fitter & Turner. Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, your main responsibilities will include: Overhauling gearboxes, conveyors, pumps, driveshafts Installing bearings on site Dismantling, cleaning, assessing and measuring parts Assisting with small machining jobs Cleaning of the workshop Workshop deliveries (local area) Assisting with maintaining workshop equipment About you: To be considered for this position you will ideally have: A positive attitude to learn in the workplace, High level of mechanical aptitude, Ability to follow instructions and procedures, both written and verbal, Ability to operate equipment and systems, You must hold a current Drivers Licence.
