This includes: Specialist training opportunities Buddy shifts with CPA's experienced Disability Support Workers Opportunity to complete a nationally recognised qualification such as Certificate III in Individual Support and/or a Certificate IV in Disability. We invest $5,000 in training in your first year We are looking for enthusiastic and proactive people who are keen to share their hobbies, passions, and interests to support clients creatively with art, music and cooking, or sport and other physical activities. Your day may include one on one support, working in group settings in our centre and within the North Shore community. About this role: Supporting clients to build new skills through the delivery of client-centred, innovative programs such as arts & craft, music, health & fitness Assisting clients at meal times, with personal care needs i.e. feeding, getting dressed and administering medication Companion support for community access such as social events, recreation or sporting activities Using CPA minivan to transport clients if applicable Availability: You need to be available for a minimum of 3 days per week between Monday to Friday 9:30am - 3:30pm. Requirements: A current NSW Driver's Licence (P2 minimum) Live locally to St Ives Triple COVID-19 vaccinated Important information: At CPA the safety of our staff and clients is of paramount importance.
