Private Practice Receptionist / Admin Assistant Permanent part time opportunity 2 days per week, Monday and Friday About the role: Join a fantastic team of professionals Greeting patients, answering patient calls, booking appointments, and answering patient queries Assisting patients with billing queries Providing professional and courteous communication to patients and medical professionals About You To succeed in this role, you will be an enthusiastic individual with a passion for customer service. The ability to converse and be empathetic while managing a busy flow of incoming and outgoing patients is a key skill needed for this role. Must be patient, considerate and empathetic Ability to multitask as there is a high volume of patients and phone calls Excellent communication skills with great attention to detail Comfortable working in a great team of doctors, nurses, pathologists, administrators, and non-clinical staff Your Skills and Experience Computer literacy including Microsoft Office suite of programs Proven Experience in medical administration, ideally within a hospital. Proven ability to work in a customer service focused environment Experience with Patient Management Systems will be essential, ideally Bluechip, is highly desired, though not essential. Previous billing experience with Medicare, DVA and Private Eftpos preferred Flexibility and the ability to work under pressure Certificate in Medical Terminology (Desirable) Remuneration On offer is an hourly base rate of $33.92 superannuation based on qualifications and experience.
