This is our promise to the Victorian community and the reason we exist. $142,374.00 per annum Superannuation 3 x Full Time Ongoing roles (Part Time Considered) Geelong location - Hybrid About you We are looking for 3 x Senior Experience Designers for our Prevention, Enterprise Enablement & Service to Injured Worker Portfolios. This opportunity will suit a naturally curious leader who has a passion for advocating Design Methodologies throughout our business. You will foster exceptional leadership, lead a positive workplace culture and be a strategic thinker partnering with designers to innovate, implement and achieve Worksafe goals aligned throughout our strategy. We are looking for the below main skillsets for each portfolio Prevention Portfolio: Product focused designer who has extensive experience in agile product teams. Service to Injured Worker Portfolio: Discovery and prototyping focus with experience working from design artefacts (service blue prints) Enterprise Enablement Portfolio: Taking a formative roadmap and assisting in building a product team around the contact centre that delivers continuous value to the Victorian community. Skills & Experience Ability to think creatively, and develop new and innovative ways of approaching problems/opportunities and engaging with various audiences Proven ability to work with clients and to leverage design methodologies to understand their needs and wants Proven ability to experiment by leveraging concept testing tools and techniques to iterate potential solutions Proven ability to manage projects with a high level of ambiguity and to support design and product teams through ambiguity to deliver positive outcomes Demonstrated experience in coaching, mentoring, and upskilling people in experience design and agile methods and an ability to encourage and support new ways of working Ability to work with all levels of our organisation from the CEO and senior leadership teams to new graduates and junior staff members A nuance for working in an embedded product team within traditional government structure, having to maintain a design mindset and process alongside working with a variety of different people Qualifications Tertiary Degree in either Design, Business, Human Sciences, Engineering or other relevant field About the role Senior Experience Designers ensure the smooth coordination and delivery of design projects, ensuring that outcomes are delivered on time. They provide design leadership across multidisciplinary teams and within the design practice to ensure delivery of high-quality work. Senior Experience Designers inform solutions and move them towards delivery through creating future states, road maps and experience prototypes that ensure desirable, viable and feasible experiences are delivered effectively and efficiently Key accountabilities will include: Lead and oversee delivery of numerous design initiatives at any given time, developing a deep understanding of project plans, intended strategic outcomes and key deliverables, effectively collaborating with senior stakeholders and clarifying assumptions. Provide technical leadership and guidance across a number of deliverables and undertake regular meetings with stakeholder with regards to deliverables, expectations, and potential risks and issues.
