About the Opportunity We are currently seeking a dedicated Medical Receptionist to join the team at our Ballina, Lismore and surrounding clinics on a full-time permanent basis. You will learn to: Handle all face-to-face registrations, bookings, triage and queries as the first point of contact within the clinic. Receive payments, issue receipts, complete all billing and invoicing for patients. Answering incoming phone calls regarding bookings & general enquiries. Actioning incoming emails from referrers and patients and make outbound calls to confirm appointments with patients. Maintaining patient records, & related information. Operate our booking system. The successful candidate will: Be enthusiastic, motivated and hardworking Display excellent interpersonal skills Have a demonstrated ability to work as part of a team Pick up new computer systems quickly Pride themselves on their meticulous attention to detail Provide exceptional customer service in person and over the phone Be able to balance competing priorities and tasks, while ensuring timely service.
