Southern Adelaide Local Health Network – Marion GP Plus - Specialist Community Mental Health Service Salary $57,842 - $62,221 p.a. (pro rata) ASO2 | 30 hours p.w. from 8 January till 30 June 2024 Support a critical community service and expand your professional administration skills. The Division of Mental Health Services is looking for an Administration Officer to based at the Marion GP Plus Health Care Centre. The Health Care Centre offers a broad range of health care services designed to around the needs of its community, including mental health, to assist in reducing the reliance on hospital services. About the Role: The Administration Officer will be accountable to the Regional Administration Manager for the provision of efficient and responsive administrative/clerical and enquiry support. Key duties include: Contribute to the development, implementation, and review of best practice administrative systems in alignment with Organisational/Departmental policies and procedures. Identify areas for improvement in clerical functions and performance. Maintain a positive attitude and empathic manner, particularly in the context of working within a mental health service environment where unsettling events may occur. To be successful in this role, you will have: Proven experience in basic computing skills, including email and word processing. Previous experience in public contact, preferably in a health setting. Broad experience in an administrative/clerical enquiry/reception setting. Confidence in dealing with a challenging consumer group. Please see the attached Role Description for additional information.
