THE JOB We are seeking a passionate, food-loving, and customer-focused Pantry Manager to join our leadership team on a full-time basis. Working alongside the Head Chef and reporting to the Venue Manager, you will enjoy a dynamic and responsible role. Working closely with other Managers in Gaming, Bar, and Accommodation you will continue to push the venue to greater successDaily management of cafe/pantry operationsDelivering superior, prompt, and consistent service to all customersManaging all customer interactions with the utmost professionalismExcellent knowledge of and ability to execute quality coffee Upholding and maintaining the highest standard of restaurant presentationSuperior planning and execution of promotional activities, functions, and events. Recruitment, training, development, and performance management of your team Implementation of sales and marketing strategies to support the growth and success of the Pantry Ability to roster well and achieve required wage budgets through effective rostering and KPI's without impacting the quality of food, service, or hygiene Effective stock management, control, and required reporting ABOUT YOU You will have a friendly, outgoing, and enthusiastic personality, with outstanding organisation, communication and interpersonal skills. You must also have a passion for customer service, with the ability to lead by example and motivate staff to perform to the best of their abilities. Able to work up to 45 hours per week and start at 6 am most days over a 7-day roster is required including Public Holidays. Occasional evening work for functions and events.
